RUBRIC/Checklist for your Annotated Bibliography:
Citation comes first: is it in the correct format and is the format consistent (APA, MLA, Chicago)?

Annotation (1-2 paragraphs long, between 150-200 words):

  • did you list the author's credibility, the reliability of their info/their publisher, any biases?
  • did you name their thesis and main points (line of reasoning)?
  • did you explain the quality of their argument (use of logos, pathos, ethos)?
  • did you judge the overall effectiveness or quality of the argument/article?
  • did you include ONE sentence that states how you will connect this source to your thesis or argument?
Monday is a practice test for Part A of the AP Exam you will take in May. 

Tuesday is a workday to solidify your question/thesis, find your lenses, and find additional resources. We will also have SNACKS that morning. Bring your favorite breakfast snacks!
